After a breast cancer diagnosis in 2021, I realized that healthy eating is just one part of true health. It’s not just about removing toxic food, you have to remove toxic environments, toxic relationships, manage stress, get enough sleep, and learn what your body needs, which is what I was missing. True health cover all elements, from the emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects. I now approach health functionally, according to my body’s DNA, one step at a time.
I calm my nervous system with herbs and breathwork, I sip on medicinal teas to heal my gut, I go for long walks to get grounded and move my lymphatic system, I detox regularly, I boost my immune system with medicinal mushrooms, and I finally feel more connected to who I am.
